Abstract light Photography
These days, I would like to introduce you men to a pal and other professional photographer of mine. She’s one particular crazy innovative souls that actually determined simple tips to blend sci-fi, research and photography into an abstract art! Whenever I found her a couple of years ago, she had been a painter but after a few several years of efforts, enthusiasm and experimentation she’s come out with a body of work We have never rather seen before. I do believe you’ll enjoy it (and be sure to scroll to your bottom!). Providing for you: Anick Morel
I’ve always liked photography but never ever had enough time to explore that method seriously until recently.
My first experiments with burning up bulbs had been rather rough. Initially, I would personally miss the critical moment if the “explosion” ended up being as its best. But after dozen of efforts, I started initially to get the hang of things. The bulb burns off for approximately 3 seconds so that you have plenty of time to obtain the perfect shot.
I love technology. I favor physic and biochemistry phenomena. Everyone loves light bulbs. The sweetness, intricacy and delicacy associated with the smoke coming from the burning tungsten wire is what lures myself most. I favor the truth that lights are easily obtained which you are able to do lots using them (photography talking) up to now, We haven’t go out of experiments I'm able to do with a burning lamp: you can photograph them with the glass partly broken or with no glass at all, can put different chemical compounds about it (like fireworks powders), change the bulb upside-down, put cup above it, etc.
All my images tend to be shot in digital camera. Considering that the smoke is white, I prefer Lightroom to carry tints on image. And then use Photoshop to erase defects and enhance the important points. Often, just as in chemicals, you won’t need certainly to include tints in post production. These days, I treat my pictures so they really have a painterly feel in their mind. It adds a brand new dimension.
