Famous abstract Landscape artists
We on a regular basis have expected where I have the theory for an abstracted landscape painting from. Its hard to clarify, given that it comes from the way We see a landscape; not only as woods and hills, but forms and colour. I lower the information down in my minds attention to fundamental kinds. This group of photos will show you visually the reason, just how one idea causes another, and show you the possibility for an abstract in an ordinary landscape.
The image let me reveal of some the landscape someplace on a backroad in southwestern Scotland, between Dumfries and Penpont. I happened to be driving along back at my way to find the cairn your landscape artist Andy Goldsworthy makes for his hometown; it was a cold, wet day despite it being the middle of summer time. The area is full of intense green, moving hills covered in dark lines of dry-stone walls, white spots of sheep, and occasional splashes of brilliant green foxgloves.
Just what exactly can it be about any of it certain little hill among all of those other bits that caught my attention so strongly we ended to take a photo? Its the outlines: the brownish slim ones, echoed because of the wider green, then the yellows. Its the curve of this hill contrary to the skyline. Easy, repeated forms with a restricted palette of natural, natural colours.
